Common Name: Brazilian Walking Iris
Featuring long strappy leaves, the Brazilian Walking Iris serves as a fantastic ground cover due to it's clumping nature. It also is an elegant pot specimen as the foliage falls over the sides of the pot.
The Walking Iris flowers prolifically in Spring, Summer and Autumn, but each individual flower only lasts a day or two.
Best grown in semi-shade, the Walking Iris grows plantlets from its spent flower heads, and as they droop forward they root into the ground and form a new plant, continuing to 'walk'!
