There are thousands of species of ferns, Palmland offers an extensive range of ferns both native and exotic. Most ferns prefer the shade from a canopy although the number one selling fern at Palmland, Blechnum Silver Lady tolerates full morning sun and the very popular Cyathea Cooperii grows equally well in both shade or full sun. However the vast majority of ferns stocked enjoy total shade.
Included in those ferns offered are: Adiantum – Maidenhair fern, Asplenium – Birds Nest fern, Dicksonia Antarctica, Polypodiuym, Crytomium, Platycerium – Staghorn, Elkhorn, Tassel fern.

Palmland offers a vast and ever increasing range of Cordylines, this range includes; Rubra, Negra, Pink Diamond, Kiwi, Katherine, Pink Champagne, Rooster Tail and China Boy.
However in my opinion without a doubt the star is Cordyline Schubertii, full sun to part shade beautiful colour and shape, a champion plant.

Pineapple lilies are a lovely addition to any garden. They are native to the rainy, mountainous areas of South Africa. The plant has a base rosette of long lance-shaped leaves. The flowers are on a long spike topped with a tuft of smaller leaves. These leaves and the appearance of the flower spike while the flowers are still in bud make the flower head look like a pineapple, thus the name.
