Cycads

It is said that Cycads were the food of the dinosaurs, if this is in fact the case one can only surmise that dinosaurs had quite robust gums as the majority of cycads have tough, sometimes sharp leaves.
Great plants for the ground or pots – Full sun to part shade.
Palmland stocks native Cycads; Macrozamia and, Lepidoozamia Peroffskyana. The Japanese Cycas Revoluta and the Mexican cardboard plant, Zamia Furfuracea.
One of the true gems of the nursery is “Old man Joe” an 80 year old Cycas Revoluta, an amazing specimen in the courtyard of the nursery. (At $37 a year its price tag is not excessive).
